Introduction to Seedsong

Insecticide

Seedsong (Thiamethoxam 350 g/L FS) is a seed treatment insecticide that gives full protection from seeds to seedlings. Thiamethoxam is a neonicotinoid insecticide that gives long-lasting control against a broad spectrum of sucking and chewing pest insects, including wire worms, aphids and thrips, using foliar spray, soil or seed treatment. The systemic effect enables the active ingredient to be distributed via the roots into the whole plant. It interferes with the specific receptors in the insect’s nervous system. Within hours of contact or ingestion, insects stops feeding and die. Furthermore, thiamethoxam has unique “vigor effect” on germination boost and crop establishment that promotes greater production and higher yields.

Damage of above-ground pests

Sucking pests extract plant sap, causing curly leaves, deformed fruits and nutrient deficiencies in plants. The piercing wounds make the plants more vulnerable to infestation like dark mildew. Moreover, sucking pests can also act as pathogen vectors that spread disease among plants.

Damage of underground pests

Soil-dwelling pests mainly damage the seeds, seedlings and roots of field crops and vegetables. They feed on seeds and bite off roots and stems, causing shortage of seedlings in a ridge. Besides, the cut damage makes it easy for pathogen to invade.

How to control?

  1. Proper fertilization. It helps develop stronger plants with more resistance to disease.
  2. Soil treatment. It helps eliminate soil pathogens and subterranean pests.
  3. Seed treatment with fungicide. It kills penetrated pathogens and prevents further infection.
  4. Seed treatment with insecticide. It protects seeds and early seedlings from pests.

Pest Control in Pear Aphids

Aphids feed by sucking the nutrient-rich liquids out of plants. In large numbers, they can weaken plants significantly, resulting in discolored and withered leaves, harming crops, flowers and fruits.
